Meet Gini
Gini really loves to bring her husband to More to Life Adult Day Health Care. It’s always a difficult decision dealing with someone with Alzheimer’s, dementia or Parkinson’s disease but More to Life Adult Day Health Care Center has become a lifesaver for many people like Gini.
Meet Debbie
Debbie brings her mother-in-law to More to Life Adult Day Health Care and this gives her an opportunity to get the things she needs done around the house. She knows that she’s in a safe environment so she doesn’t have to worry about her during the day.
Meet Anne
Anne brings her husband to More to Life Adult Day Health Care located in Sparks Nevada. Right when their life was ready to begin the retirement age they found out that her husband had Alzheimer’s. She knows how hard that is to live with for a caregiver and urges all others who are in the same position to take some time for themselves and bring their husband, wife, parent or grandparent to more to life so they can have some time for themselves.
Meet Dennis
Dennis really enjoys the opportunity to bring his mother to More to Life Adult Day Health Care Center. This is been a great relief to him and he is now able to the things he needs to do during the day.
Meet Jim
Jim brings his mother to More to Life Adult Day Health Care Center only when he needs to. He works another job and sometimes he needs someone to watch his mother and only gets a few minutes notice when he is on call. Instead of spending a bunch of time trying to find someone that will watch his mother he just packs her up and brings her to the adult day care center and then comes back a few hours later to pick her up. This is a great relief to Jim as he does not have to worry about her when he used to have to leave her alone.
Meet Alda. She loves what More to Life has done for her mom.
Here is Judy. She leaves her mom at More to Life with full confidence.
As you can tell, Judy really enjoys bringing her mother here to More To Life. It has really changed her life as she is now able to do the things she needs to do during the day while her elderly mother spends time with new friends and remains more active.
“More to Life has been the answer to my prayers! Jeff and his staff are so caring and considerate and I feel very confident leaving my mother with them. It has given me back a little piece of my life, so I can have some time for myself, and at the same time it has greatly enhanced my mother’s life as well. She really enjoys going there and has a great time! It has helped her mentally and physically and I can’t say enough about the place and the people! I would highly recommend More to Life to anyone who is in need of a secure part time place to take a parent or loved one who can no longer take care of themselves. It is a wonderful place!”
More to Life Adult Day Health Center in Sparks, NV has significantly helped my elderly mother. It provides her an opportunity to meet and interact with male and female clients in a safe, secure, quiet, and supporting environment. It is open 6 days a week and mom attends 3 days. More to Life offers a chance to get away from the house and engage in activities that help her with mental connections, light physical exercise, and socialization.
When she first attended the day care she was into her own world and very quiet. As she continued attending she became more verbal and more interested in life again. She seemed to feel more normal and developed a more positive self-worth. She had been a head nurse in a doctor’s office but as years went by and her husband passed on she became despondent and hopeless. She enjoys her time at More to Life and it has opened up new avenues for personal growth.
I feel strongly that More to Life is highly professional and absolutely cares about the older client. The owners and employees have compassion and patience with struggling, aging clients. I give my highest recommendation to anyone who is looking for a good environment to place beloved relatives when they need a little TLC and support in their coping with their changed situation.
Dr. Marjorie Smith, Reno, NV
“We really appreciate all you have done for us! What a blessing you have been to our family! Thanks again! Terri”
“My mother has lived with us for 2 years and has Alzheimer’s Disease. We have recently found the best thing since sliced bread for our situation.
It is the new adult day center in Sparks, called More to Life. We really like it for the following reasons:
- It is family owned and operated.
- It is new, clean and tastefully decorated.
- The staff members are nice, friendly and willing to tailor the program to your family member’s needs.
- The prices are very economical.
- The hours are flexible.
- It is a locked facility for the safety of possible wanderers.
- It gives me a break from worrying. I know that when I leave my mother there, she will be safe, happy and well cared for.
To sum it up, it gives me peace of mind.
Nancy”
I am truly happy to read this blog posts which consists of plenty of useful information, thanks for providing these kinds of information.
My father went to More to Life for three years before passing this past June of 2018. Jeff and his staff were like a second family to my dad and my wife and I. Even though my father suffered with Dementia, he was always excited to go to The More to Life day center, where they treated him with dignity and respect. I would recommend Jeff’s program to any family who’s loved one suffers with Alzheimer’s or Dementia or just seniors that want to have fun. Thank you Jeff and the More to Life staff for making my dad happy in his final years. They made it memorable and happy. Johnny and Karianne Kallas.
